Having stepped in as Entain’s Interim CEO in December 2023, I had the privilege of leading the Group through the first eight months of 2024. We have been laser focused on executing our strategic objectives and driving operational momentum to return the Group to structural growth. To achieve this, we needed to confront challenges head on, improve our ways of working, deliver on our product and technology roap, and prioritise execution in our must-win markets of the UK, Brazil and the US. We made significant progress on these fronts in 2024, establishing a solid foundation for sustainable growth, which continues into 2025.

2024 was a year of inflection for Entain. The Group’s performance improved as the year progressed and clearly illustrates the turnaround of the underlying business.We ended 2024 at the top of our guidance range, which we had upgraded twice during the year, reflecting the business’ momentum and trading performance.
